I was in a minor accident today, well when I say minor I mean one of the kids opened the back door too quickly and widely and put a dent in the car next to me..
Now i do admit fault and there is a dent that was not there before i parked, but am wondering if any of you lot would know a approx cost for repairing this.. As far as I could see no paintwork was scratched ..
Hopefully this can all be resolved without going through Insurance..

If the paintwork is unmarked then a dent paintless dent removal guy could pop it out. Would probably be under €100. But the driver may not be OK with that and want it fixed in a proper bodyshop. If that's the case they will repair and paint the complete door. That would cost about €250-300.

It all depends on the size of dent, make and model of car.
Some dents can't be simply pulled out, others are too big and stretch the metal so it never gets back to being 100%. Prices for paint and new door/panel all depends on the make and model, you could try phoning around some scrap/car dismantlers and get second hand part. If its a small dent then I've seen dry ice being used to fix them(cheap & quick) looks like it does a great job(seen on youtube) but haven't come across it here in ireland, maybe someone else has and could put you in the right direction!
