    Anyone had any experience with this? Looking at changing the car, but sill have a about 3k left on the loan so thought this could be a way to clear it off and start a fresh with a new car. Any views? Thanks in advance

    They won't pay you what it's worth. Sell your own privately...inform buyer of outstanding finance.

    Only last resort if you really really need the money
    Offered me way under the odds for my car last year when was moving country, was running out of time but held firm and luckily got a buyer the week before we left Ireland.
    The guy made absolute dirt of the car and what would need to be done on it to bring it up to his standard
    AS EPM said sell private and work with buyer to clear the finance, some threads on here about this

    Was thinking that I would be offered under the odds of what it's worth, but am fortunate that it's worth about double what I still owe. Might give it a shot,sure I've no prob walking away if not happy, bit like a pawn shop I guess.
