    hey..
just wondering if a car is not in use for a certain period of time is there any way that you can get away without taxing it...... i.e. if i was leaving the country for 6 months?

no problem...there is a space on the renewal form for you to declare it was off the road (when you come back) you get the Gards to witness your signature on the declaration. Has to be physically off the road though...
