Hello, I have a suzuki samurai 1.3 with a problem. It starts on the button and runs. Its 1991. The problem im having is that when its idling it is normal but when i turn on the fans or lights it shoots up to 2500 revs. Please Help!!!

Strange electrical behaviour is usually down to poor earths, never heard of it causing an engine to rev up though!

Check the main battery earth to chassis and engine, throttle cable could be acting as an earth. Also check the lighting and dash earths.
