    I think it would be pretty much the same.

    Well what would those 25,000 or so people have done on March 29th?

    Sat around and watched an empty pitch?

    Well the Irish who emigrated there in the 19th century would have had to either stay at home or go elsewhere.

    There's a pretty simple equation to solve this actually.

    y' = a*(y^n) + c
    x - (n*)

    (Ireland = y Uruguay =n x=earth)

    No probs.

    There would still be no Uruguayan Embassy in Dublin.

    Ireland would have had more Nazis if there were no Uruguay for them to hide in.

    I've been to Uruguay and it's a lovely place, Punta del Este is the place to go if you're fleeing the taxman or a tribunal. Hint, they really really dislike when you repeat the "U r gay" thing over and over again. Oddly enough they have their own version of Roma beggers who thought I was Brazilian (the white Pele etc).
