The Galligan Beauty Group Dublin

    Hey,

    Since last week I have been trying to ring the Galligan beauty group in Dublin but the phone is never answered.

    I spent about two hours ringing them today before giving up as no one was answering the phone.

    There is a contact form on their website however that is for the Galligan beauty college, not the salon.

    Has anyone else had any trouble getting through to them? I am a two hour bus/train journey away so I can't call into them.

    Use contact form anx explain that you are having problems contacting the salon along with your query. I'm sure they will either forward on your queryetc

    They clearly don't want your money, find someone else who is more willing to take it!

    I have two Citydeal vouchers to use for this salon, both of which expire on June 6th, doubt I'll get to use them now:(

    I'll try the contact form, but I doubt I'll get response now as it's nearly 7pm, so probably won't get an appointment for tomorrow.

    The salon may be open, but they aren't answering their bloody phones.

    This is ridiculous, I paid €36 for both of these voucher and doubt I will get to use them now.

    If you have the address of the salon write them a letter out lining your attempts to contact them, explain about the vouchers and request that they contact you asap. Might be worth sending the letter by registered post.

    Or get back to citydeal and tell them you want a refund?

    I'd mail city deal and tell them that you have now been trying to organise an appointment to use your voucher for over a month & if you cannot reach the salon using the contact details CityDeal have provided you with & they cannot be more helpful than 'the Salon is still open' that you will be reporting this to your credit card company (either as fraud or goods/services not delivered) and starting charge back proceedings. Cheeky beggars.

    Thanks guys.

    I emailed City Deal and explained the problem and they said they'll issue a full refund.

    I'll keep you updated and let you know how it goes, hopefully there will be no issues.

    Any issues and I will be seeing the bank about a Charge back.

    Uh oh.. I have one of these vouchers aswel, My friend got one also and used it no problem, I'll try calling them tomorrow and see if I have any luck :rolleyes:

    My refund showed up in my bank account today, thankfully, there were no issues.

    I was a student in Galligans about 3 years ago (great college) but once recession hit they let the receptionist go, the phone used to ring in the office 20+ times a day and nobody would answer coz they would have to leave a class! So that could still be he case, but if you were ringing the salon downstairs and no one answered then thats just plain unprofessional :confused:
