    Hi

My friend purchased a English reg mondeo which is category c and vic test required in the UK and since the car would be exported to Ireland they use to send a export certificate without problems but now they just send a salvage cert .
The car is fully repaired and only had light front damage anyway…
    Anyone know anything on this

    thanks

You need the full V5 document to register it here, any other way will be a big ordeal and you could be waiting months.

Or certificate of export as mentioned in OP.
Sounds like a good development that. Will stop the death traps turning up here when only thrown back together.

In the OPs case, Perhaps an Engineers report would enable it to be put on the road here.
