Hi all recently went for mri on my left knee and got results last night and i have partially torn my acl and swelling. any idea of what to expect from the physio exercise wise

I fully tore mine seven weeks ago, as regards exercise its mainly about strengthing the thigh muscle, exercises such as lying on a bed sliding heel up and down as far as you can bend it, tightning your thigh muscle and lifting leg two inches off the bed and holding for five seconds repeat 15 times, tightning thigh muscle and pushing back of knee onto bed holding for 5sec (x15), lying with rolled towel under ur knee and trying to lift foot up (5 sec) (x15), lying on stomach bending knee as far back as possible (10 sec) (x15).
Did u need crutches, do u need surgery?

I cannot offer a recommendation but just to say best of luck and speedy recovery.

Isn't there a world renowned physio based in Limerick perhaps someone like that could advise on where to go etc.

Ger Hartman is his name but he charges extremely high prices and its very hard to get an appointment. I think he charges 3 or 400 a session.
