    I see there's an 'Obnoxious Parking' thread, but I can't seem to find a catch-all thread for general obnoxious/selfish driving. I'm not sure that this particular bit of everyday idiocy merits a thread of its own, but what the hell...

    This morning, on the N11 inbound (between Loughlinstown and Cabinteely), I witnessed a JCB trundling along at 20km/h in the overtaking lane. Because traffic was fairly heavy (but moving well), people obviously had difficulty getting into the left-hand lane to undertake him, resulting in a couple of very near misses and a lot of raised tempers. My car is woefully underpowered, so I patiently stayed behind him for a while, flashing the lights, hoping that he might muscle his way into the correct lane. He didn't, and I noticed him reacting very indignantly when people gestured and blasted their horns at him.

    I presume he was driving in the overtaking lane because he was intending to turn right at Cabinteely, but to do it for two f**king kilometres before the junction... I mean, that's just not on, is it? Or am I overreacting?

    There's been threads like this before under different names, which turns into a ranting and raving style bitch about middle lane hoggers and fog lights etc. I'm thinking though with the amount of forum members about to buy dash cams after the brilliant insurance scam thread, we could get a nice YouTube thread going.

    I need one of them cams for my pushbike...! I just got knocked off by a stoopid idiot turning left in her BMW at the Spanish Arch Galway yesterday ! She overtook me then braked hard and turned left across me !

    I have a right bit of "Road Rash" on my arms and legs but still at least I didnt damage the womans BM...!

    I both cycle and drive and I see both sides - Wish other people would as well... Its okay for thats 3 Offs ive had due to careless behaviour of a minority of car drivers
