Hi everyone, hopefully someone here can help me I cant see to find a definitive answer on this. I have a full B licence for the past 2 years. Im looking to know can I drive a moped <= 50cc with my current licence and not have to do any new tests. Some sites say you can and some say you cant, so that's why im here as bordies seem to always know alot :D

If the M section of your license is filled out you can. If not, then you missed out on that gravy train.

As said, no M on your licence = No free moped driving.

When u have a full A licence ur automatically given the M, for a B the answer is no, as its 4 wheels, not 2

it used to be given when you passed your b test up til about 5 years ago, now it isn't, thats why some people say yes and others say no, i have a full B since 2007 and didn't get an m but no of many people who have there full b license longer who have the catagory m also on there full license. the bottom line is if it's not on your license you can't drive it
