Facebook slowing to a crawl

Hey just posting here cos i can't think of anyting else, My facebook on my laptop and my desktop pc has slowed to a horrible crawl, you type something and there is nearly a ten second delay so if you make a typing mistake ..its a balls.. anyway i went on to google looking for a fix, Found one that said remove all those apps (cityville,farmville, etc) so i did that and still no go ..so im **** out of luck , Its not my internet connection as very other site is flying still so any help would be greatly appreciated

mines been the same for weeks. when i try to scroll - a news feed or profile - it drags and catches so much it takes so frustratingly long to scroll down 1 page ive stopped bothering with fb much at all cos i cant be arsed with the newsfeed drag. it seemed to start when they introduced those stupid polls.....
i really havent found any answer to fixing it though

I agree with you - it has gone really bad since the "question" was introduced... not as bad as OP has stated, but still very slow:mad:

its even worse now - when im typing eg a status. the text gets held up and catches and thus ends up looking wrong - like this -> delayede puon. drives me mad.... the need to stop adding new features (like the newsfeed toolbar and sort out the lag. strangely, my mam doesnt get the lag like i do. but even she says its much slower too

That's strange, I didn't notice that at all when I'm on Facebook using my laptop. It only lags (but very minimal and rarely) when I'm using my phone. And I thought it was just a weak 3g or wifi signal.

Sweet jebus almighty, its gone soooooooo slow, it wont load the rest of my page and i cant see beyond photo 2 of anyones' recently uploaded pics, if i type in a friends name in the search bar it tells me there is an error and that it should be fixed now so please try again and when i do, it wont bloody work, is there anything i can do guys? I dont do farmville etc so what are my options besides deleting the bloody page!!
