    I was going to purchase this laptop next week in Harvey Normans as I see its available in the catalogue that came with the Sunday Independent.

    A well spec laptop for only €1247 at HN but I'm just wondering can I haggle the price down more and get it for lets say €1200? Then if I could, I would try and use my student card to get a further reduction on the price if they allow me? This laptop has everything I need.

    I would always buy on-line, but at the moment my credit card limit is small at €500, (I only have it two months) and I have no other option of buying it on-line. So I'm going to have to buy at a retail store. I need laptop at present, I cant wait six months for one. Would Soundstore source this laptop does anyone know?

    Suggestions welcome.

    If you have the money available lodge it to your credit card and buy it online that way as apposed to harvey norman you might get it cheaper online.

    Did you get it? I was thinking of picking one up myself. Seems very high spec for the price though...

    Price seems unbelievably cheap and you know what they say about 'if it sounds to good to be true...'. Cheapest I can find it online is GB£1200.

    Am I missing something??
