Around 1am this morning was woke to the sound of smashing glass. 2 cars in the Crescent had their windows smashed. Garda arrived within few minutes and got the gits who were only early teens out of their heads. The culprits appear to be well known to Garda who say that not much can be done with them because of their ages . Ahhhhhhhhh

Sorry to hear about the car windows. It's not strictly true that the Gardai can do little about the offenders. The owners of the car should make a formal report to the Gardai and request that the anti social behaviour order be used:

    http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/justice/children_and_young_offenders/anti_social_behaviour_by_children.html

In my personal experience the Gardai tend to say that there is little they can do because they are reluctant to do the paperwork. But the more people that request the orders be applied when children/young teens offend the easier it is to have children brought into the system early and enable the Gardai to act on repeat offenders.
