Volvo s40 headlamp

The glass on my driver side headlamp got smashed. I'd rather not have to buy a new one as they're quite dear.

Any suggestions on where I could pick up a used one?

    It's a 2002 s40.

Also if anyone has experience of these light assemblies can I just get the glass or do I have to change the whole thing?

Modern headlamps are sealed units so you have to replace the whole headlamp.

Look up car dismantlers in the phone book and get on the blower, I'm sure you will find one handy enough.

You can get a lens from the main dealer as they are not a sealed lamp think they were around €90 plus vat. They may ask if its single or twin headlamp being an 02 it would be a twin.
