Blobby Keane heading down

Irelands finest (:pac:), just missed from 5 yards for an open goal, that probably would have went a long way to keeping West Ham up.

Doomed for the Championship now, with Harry saying he will be offloaded in the summer, and him being a complete waste of space all season long especially since going to West Ham and failing to break into the side. It's likely he will be in the Championship next season, whether West Ham will want him now I doubt. Fairly giving him stick on the hammers forum now.

*awaits "irelands greatest player" " played for inter milan" and other similar jibes.

He'll end up with a minor side that survives the drop or get signed by QPR/Norwich

Just came in to say the same thing. That's what I'm afraid of.

I dont think Ive seen one person say he's Ireland's greatest ever player  edit: you said greatest player, not ever, my bad

I think the agreement was he would be signing permanent if they stayed up. He should and will most likely get a premier league move

    Useless prick.
Such a fine player for West Ham.

    Stupid **** couldn't score from 5 yards.

Plenty more West Ham players deserve some of the stick from that game too, they just didn't turn up!

Keane's chance was a bad miss, but not the worst i have seen.

I hope none of the West Ham "fans" who left early were giving out about Keane on the forums.

I think he should retire from club football and concentrate solely on the international scene.

    Really?

Enlighten me. This should be good.

If that happened it would show up the Irish team as an embarrassment. We want to go to big tournaments and we should carry a retired player? No way.

Sad to say he's had his day a long time ago, not Premier League level anymore. As for him going to QPR or Norwich. I'm sure they will set their sights higher if they have any intention of staying up or if they have seen him play in the last year or so.

Not the worst miss you've ever seen. Well I suppose that's the only way to spin it....

I think he is doing it on purpose, if West ham avoid relegation they have an option to extend his deal so he is just playing sh-it so he doesn't have to stay there.

Striker in missing chance shock. Stop the presses!

The Robbie Keane hate by a lot of Irish people is sad.

The same haters probably cheer his goals for Ireland and sing "Keano" at the matches.

I wonder what Keane haters are like in real life. Must be of the unusually bitter variety. Glad I don't know any that's for sure.
