Integra DC5 to an S2000

I'm seriously considering changing my DC5 for an S2000 at the moment. Got my DC5 nearly a year ago & love the car. It's been great to me, but I'm starting to think I want a change.

I've been checking on the S2000's now for a while & have to say my opinion on them has completely changed (Wouldn't have taken a second look at one 2 years ago. Now I see one & I'm physically turning my head as it drives by).

If I was to get one it would have to have the red leather interior & I'd try to get one 2002+ because I'd be looking to hold onto it for a while.

Just want to see what you guys think & which one you would prefer. Maybe I'm mad considering letting the DC5 go or maybe it is time for a change? (Considered an RX8 at some stage during all this & can safely say that idea has gone out the window after reading some of the threads here).

Ah yes. It's a 2002, Championship white with the red interior, 120,000km/75,000m. C-pack with no modifications (still limited to 180km but I do have a HKS speed limit defencer but haven't got around to getting it fitted)

If there's enough interest I can get some pictures posted.

Sure stick up some pics, or email them to me :) Ideally i'm looking for one that isn't Championship White, but if the price is right, I could be interested ;)

No problem. I'll take some pics when the weather picks up a bit & email them onto you.

Adverts.ie that direction. Do it I'm private lads, as I smell a lock from miles away...

As for s2000. It would be the only Honda I would consider owning. Very well balanced car. Good looking too.

First of all you have to make sure, that there wOunt be any problems with owning a roadster. There is good few points you got to go through in your head first. Place to keep, only 2 seats,Limit in space, Your own size, insurance.

It's not as hard to live with roadster, but you got to be ready to deal with extra bits that you will newer encounter with normal car: vynil roofs etc?

    He's right.

OP take it to PM/email, or put an ad on adverts if you wish.

Own an S2000 and would highly recommend. If you have any specific quetions, feel free to ask but below is a post I put up for someone else:
    Pyonyang,

I've spent the last 6 months testing the exact cars you mentioned originally.

    TT
    AR GT
    Boxter
    Z4
    etc...

That all changed when I took an S2000 out for a spin. My mind was made up straight away, absolutely loved the car. Spent another 3months waiting for the right one and finally bought it last weekend. Would highly recommend one.

    Pro's:
    Fantastic drive
    Good looking inside and out
    Economical on petrol (weirdly enough)
Seriously powerful (Mine has a few mods so is now nearer the 280BHP mark but the standard 240 will still leave the cars above behind, depending on the model bought of course)
Very driver centric which I like
NB: Possibly one of the most reliable engines ever

    Con's
Space. I moved house this week. Many (many) swear words were uttered.
RWD with no traction control. (This is not an issue if you are a confident driver. Its nowhere near as bad as some people make out but you will feel the twitchiness at times. Makes you feel like you're actually driving. Personally love it) [EDIT: Based on a pre-2003 AP1 model which I have)
Don't know your driving history but it can be hard to insure if you're young/have low no claims years

That's about all I can say. The car is a real head turner, it sounds amazing especially with the top down. its incredibly comfy, very fun and (for me) is easily the best of the lot that I drove.

All in all, I love the feckin' thing
