If a person were to build 10 ft x 10 ft concrete block shed with 4 inch blocks. What kind of concrete foundation, a T Shaped Foundation or a Concrete Slab Foundation would be best suited for a construction job of this type ?

Also in this scenario, the shed is built in a Garden where the sub-soil is comprised of a lot of solid rock and stones.

    Any suggestion ?

the rule of thumb is for the foundation to be 3 times wall width.

However if building 4" on edge while the rule of thumb suggests 12" I believe it to be 2 narrow.

Anyway on a 10' length you should have piers so foundation needs to be wider here

they are generally a foot deep minimum and 2 feet down to be below the frost line.

If it were my shed I would build it with 4" on flat with a 900 wide foundation

4 inch on flat good idea. It will more exspensive but walls would be stronger and able to take the load of a door or gate if suspended fron wall.
