Just google buying a used car and you'll find loads of info on what to look for like letting the engine tick over and see what colour the exhaust smoke is.

I think CBG or some other site should have all the info. Make sure to offer less than the asking price though.

Apparently rusty sumps are a common problem with that year fiesta but can be replaced for €40.
