Can anyone recommend a really good place to get fitted for a bra... been measured in La Senza and Arnotts, both gave totally diff measurements!

The bras I bought after the fittings were fine... but they didn't do much for me really... I'm circa 36c (well thats what I'm wearing), but I'm sure it's wrong size cos it gives no lift and moves ....

If anyone could recommend somewhere really good at fittings.....

Recommend the ladies in Bramora: http://bramora.com/

I spent far too may years in ill-fitting M&S bra's, that did nothing for me. I'm much happier since I got fitted there - realising M&S measure far too big on the back and as a result their bra's gave way inadequate support - for me anyway.

    Hi

I don't know where you are, but if you are in Dublin I would always recommend a visit to http://www.peachesandcream.ie/ I went to the girl here in 2007 for my wedding and definately would never go anywhere else since then, fab service and a really pretty little shop.xx

I usually get fitted in M&S but on Saturday I was really unimpressed with the service. I was in one of their stores, not going to totally out them and say which one, buying a few bras so I was on and out of the changing room a few times. There was no queue so I asked the girl if I could get a fitting. No problems, in we go to a room etc. etc. (be warned, rant ahead)

In one of the next rooms, there were two women talking very loudly about bras etc. (as you do). The lady that was with me went out to find a selection of bras for me but was hijacked by the staff member in the next room to come in and take a look at her client. So, I'm sitting there, waiting and listening to them talking (once again, VERY loudly) about things not fitting etc. Nearly 10 minutes later, 7 if I'm being bitter (mad.gif), the lady returned with 2 bras that were not at all the styles I had said I was looking for, said a quick "sorry about that" and started going on to me about the other client who she had just been with (turns out, it was a young girl, with her mother, getting her first fitting and she had unevenly sized breasts). I was so disgusted.

Firstly, I was left waiting while she helped out with another persons fitting - without a decent apology. Second, she hadn't even bothered to try to get something I was looking for (realised later that the bras she returned with were on a rack right outside the dressing room, she didn't look very far!). Third, she had talked to me about another persons fitting (which, I find very unprofessional and down right rude) and lastly, the poor girls fitting in the next room had been broadcast to everyone in the whole dressing room by 2 staff members which, if I were a young girl getting a first fitting, would put me off for life.

Will not be going back to that store and has really left me with a sour taste in my mouth about M&S.

    *deep breath*

OP - Try Debenhams, I have found them good in the past and they have a lovely selection.
