I got one for Christmas 2 years go.I found it to be brilliant.I sat in it for days playing MW2. Very comfortable and well built. The sound quality is very good.I had mine connected to the Tv and it sounded fine.Just make sure you dont lean back too far on it or you could have an 'incident'. I'd recommend it if you dont want to splash out on an expensive surround sound system.

cheers for that. which one do you have. i was looking at the wireless ones but i hear there is some problems with the sound stopping or something. i need the chair more than the surround sound

Got one Christmas two years ago. Recently something happened to the base of it. Jumped in it. it collapsed, spun me around and flung me into the wall. I still use it but never really hooked it up for sound as there's just too many wires.
Hooked it up to watch Iron Man on DVD and it was very good.

I got the X Rocker Pro a few years back(its wireless with armrests) and i have to say that ive always been very impressed with it,decent enough sound out of it for the then price of it and i find it very comfortable too.

Spent 10 hours of the Xmas day I got it playing MW2 online and getting stuck into the Xmas drink, much to the annoyance of my fiance and her family who I was supposed to have dinner with that day!!!!!

i picked up one of these http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/5660861/Trail/searchtext%3EX+ROCKER.htm today. so far so good. comfortable. havent really tried the sound yet but it seems ok. just need to get an adaptor to let the sound play via my stereo as it always has and use the speekers in the chair too.

i found it verl low to the ground. im getting old and stiff so i need a base to put it on to rise it up a bit
