I received my p21 in the post and it states I made an overpayment.

Should a cheque for that amount have been included with the P21 or will it arrive later?

Did you input your bank details on PAYE anytime because the money will go straight in if you did

It states under 'Treatment of result' heading that a certain amount will be paid to my wifes a/c but says nothing about the overpayment. Rather confusing.

I'm sure my wife did enter details of our joint a/c ok.

    BTW thanks for the reply.
