    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Did you ring a Ford dealer? They might put you in the right direction.

From what I remember, any Ford Key of that era should start it with a bit of wiggling.:D. Used to be that way with mk MK2 Escort

Send a door barrell up to steveguard.ie drumcondra and he'll make you a Key or may even do it from chassis number ...he's the best

strange way you formatted your post there....

anyway a good locksmith who is used to dealing with cars should be able to make new keys for you. THere's no chip or anything in them so no need to go to dealers or get them programmed etc.

When you say the original keys were possibly stolen... how?
If someone knew you had that car it could be a bit dodgy

At this stage it might be better to get a complete set of locks from a scrap Capri. Ford wil probably laugh you out the door being honest. A wha....?

+1, if you can bring in a lock barrel it should be easy enough.

what type of keys do capri's have? do they have ones like a sierra ect sort of a square head? if so any ford mechanic/storeman worth therse salt should be able to read the key number from a lock by taking it apart,
