Heading down on Thursday and just looking for the best public transport down, I see Marathon Travel are doing buses from Dawson St for a score, any other ways to get out to it?

Are you heading down on your own Gav? If there's a crowd of you, you could hire a minibus, that's what we usually do.

Only two of us heading at the moment (the other lad won two tickets), so that's why we were looking at public transport.

Punchestown have info on their website here. There are shuttle buses from the train station, but it may be cheaper to go with Marathon.

Have you checked the websites of other bus companies, Bus Eireann, Kavanaghs, etc.?

Ye Marathon Travel seems the best option, looked up on the Bus Eireann site but couldn't find any. Marathon Travel seem to be a pain, if you get the 12.30 bus it returns at 8pm but if you get the 13.30 you get the 9pm back.

Go with Marathon it is very convenient, think it is around €16 return.

Bus Eireann don't run direct buses I think, you have to get off in Kildare Town or Naas and get a shuttle bus from Naas to Punchestown. Gets a bit messy better to go on a direct, €16 return is well worth it aswell.

I don't see why you're confused, I'd be fairly sure it's the same.
