    Hi everyone,

I own a 89 Nissan Micra with all the original documents. It has only 60,000 miles on it. Never in an accident. Original cream seats in perfect condition. Paint isnt great, prob would need a respray if you wanted it to get back to brand new.

How much do ye think it would be worth if I sold it?

Could someone advise me on what would be the best price I could get if any for it?

    Many Thanks! :)

    tax or test?

    without either probably 2-300 quid.

they are becoming a bit of a niche market along with the 85-90 starlets so if you tested it and maybe stuck three months tax on some dude in a burbury hat and an airmax tracksuit might give you 1k-1200 for it and then stick a set of superlites on it and drive it into the ground.

that said, he's probably the only person who would buy that car now full stop, can't see many but a few considering that car as a daily, specially when early k11's are going for buttons.

It passed NCT last year & it will be up next year in May 2012. Taxed & drving all the time.

in mint condition with a full test and a bit of tax, somewhere under 1000 (700-800 max really, based on novelty value mostly as the next shape micra would realisticly be a a much better bet for someone just looking for a runaround) would be about it. If you actually wanted to just sell it and get a small bit of money without witing around for ages you may get 500-600 for it if you get it tested

They're actually good little cars but don't let the eejits who put the likes of these up one donedeal for 1500 after having been pulled out of a shed somewhere fool you, unfortunately there's not much of a market for them really.

If you could hold onto it for a while and store it somewhere clean and dry it may be worth more in a few years

You'd be surprised. Your Micra is getting old enough now to interest some classic car enthusiasts. The original paint is not going to be perfect on a car of over 20 years old but if it is good enough, with a full service history and originally Irish, you might well get the guts of a grand for your car

@andyseadog - the car is FWD so generally not of interest to the crowd you describe ;)

ah the superlites on a boxy starlet brigade would cream themselves if they seen superlites on a boxy micra. you'd be the talk of Mc'Donalds carpark :pac:

I'm not sure about the model number / name, but I meant the early 80s ones. Which are RWD. Therefore of interest to a certain scene :)

Edit - looked it up. The ones I was talking about are the P60
