    Hi.

Wondering if anybody would know a decent place to start doing a bit of mountain running in the Meath area (and surrounding Meath area)?

I'm trying to figure out where is closest to Navan just by looking at the map, maybe somebody could recommend somewhere? At the moment I'm just using the hill of Tara for training but it's not great.

It's mainly to train for a couple of adventure races.

    Thanks.

recently ran a hill running event in mullaghmeen forest park, which is not too far from oldcastle.I also live in the navan area and it took me about forty five minutes to get there. The forest park itself is a really nice place to run,it has a good few hills at different distances and inclines and was really nice to run somewhere different
