    Hi ya'll

I'm thinking of signing up for this IOP course http://www.instituteofphotography.ie/masterclasses/nikonD90.htm Just wondering if anyone here has done it or similar.

I've had my DSLR a couple of years now & just can't seem to find the time to focus on learning how to use it properly (i.e. not on auto!).

I'm hoping that a course such as this would rekindle my interest in my camera and photography in general

    Thanks

It might be a start, but it's a fair wedge to pay for just for a start. The course content is huge and a lot to cover in under 6 hours.

Personally I would avoid it and buy some good books + join a club.

I did a flash course with the IOP. Can't fault the instructor or the notes, really did a good job. Be prepared to be in a class with a VAST difference between the most and least experiences people present, though. That's the only challenge.

Nice surroundings, and you can literally ask Dave ANYTHING - He's very approachable, knows his sh1t on every camera, every accessory.
