    Hi All

I need some help trying to decide where to do revision courses for F5 & F9. I have heard good and bad things about everywhere! I am deciding between BPP, Independent Colleges and Griffith college?!?!?

I did the part-time courses for both in DBS 2 years ago so have the Kaplan material for both of these! Would these be ok to use? i have heard that BPP use their own notes but not sure if this will matter?

Any help at all would be appreciated as every day not study is starting to worry me!!!

    Thanks in advance!

AFAIK F9 now includes a section on Islamic finance which wouldn't be included in the material you have. You might want to get some supplementary material in order to cover that topic.

I'd recommend BPP for F5. The lecturer Garret Mulvin is savage, really knows his stuff.

I am currently studying in BPP. But I just did P levels here.

Where ever U do the revision, thats a separate thing.

But with my experience what I found is

Kaplan is very good for numerical exams. I did my F9 from kaplan. F5 is fairly easy.

What I liked about kaplan is that develop your knowledge by small examples and gradually make them an exam standard question.

Kaplan is very good especially when u r studying on your own. u can copy new chapters from a friend or can buy a new book. whatever suits u.

BPP has loadz of stuff. for F4 or F8 they can be good help.

    Regards,

    Muhammad Masood Sarwar.

Why not go back to DBS. It could be confusing going to a different lecturer, Is Patrick Lynch still at DBS?

Thanks for the help! decision made going to try Independent (because at least they use Kaplan) . . . its just to get me started i've left the decision to try again pretty late so serious studying from here on in! Any tips for F5 or F9 much appreciated!

I think Patrick Lynch is still there! I tried to go back to DBS because i really liked it and the lecturers but my previous employer went bust and never paid my fees so they won't let me study there again till bill is cleared . . . and that is not going to happen by me! They obviously don't need the money i was going to pay for the revision courses!
