Pix customer service useless really like in 99% other electronics shops in Ireland.

Why they don't have technically skilled personnel once IT is their business area?
Why they don't check manufacturer info and provide it to me (=their customer)? takes the same amount of time than admitting own useless presence..
    "Thank you for your email.

You wish to know whether USB2.0 provides enough power for USB3.0 device.

We regret to inform you that we can not provide you with a suitable information regarding your case, however we advise you to contact the manufacturer directly for a technical support.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused."

Furthermore USB 3.0 enclosures remain fully backwardly compatible with USB 2.0 systems giving you great connection with millions of devices world wide.

Taken from that page i linked you earlier ;)

Pixmania is terrible for providing product info, so is komplett. The only thing you can rely on in the product number. Before I buy anything I usually find the product on the manufacturers own website and get the full tech sheet so I know it's accurate.

    OMG!

I answered them (maybe they could fix product info??):
"Information on your web page is faulty thus confusion - Akasa docking station does come with separate power supply, look:
    http://www.akasa.com.tw/update.php?tpl=product/product.detail.tpl&no=181&type=Enclosures&type_sub=2.5%20Enclosure&model=AK-IC08U3

I guess you are including it within package?
    "

    Their reply:
    "Thank you for your e-mail.

As you can see on the technical sheet of the product, there is no power supply with AKASA DuoDock S docking station - USB 3.0 (AK-IC08U3-WH).

For further information please do not hesitate to contact us..
    "

Well I googled AK-IC08U3-WH once more and first link is leading to http://www.amazon.co.uk/Akasa-DuoDock-AK-IC08U3-WH-Docking-Notebook/dp/B004BSFT3K where you can clearly see Box Contains Power adapter hmm

Seriously.. I m giving up talking to blockheads there.. lets see what I'll get in few days *sigh
