Selling gear to other softers

    Hi all, just wondering if ye had any advice about selling second hand gear? I've tried posting in adverts here and have had some interest in some stuff but I'm wondering if you could recommend anywhere else or any other way I could sell my gear? Like would retailers take it, or do you think here on boards is the best way, or maybe turn up at a site to get people looking?

    Only thing about that last one is I'm leaving the sport for now and can't afford to play a game and I don't want to be bothering any of the lads at a site hanging around showing stuff off!

    Any comments appreciated.

    Boards or ebay is the best bet. Second hand sales are not the easiest, but it tends to work out fine. If you arent getting much interest, perhaps consider repricing on boards? Most things will go with the right tag on em.

    Thanks Firekitten. Have tried lowering prices a bit but it must just be kit that nobody wants. What I'm trying to sell is a rifle (so ebay is out) a paintball mask and a couple pistol cases.I might be mad but maybe nobody uses these pistol cases or paintball masks? :confused:
    The rifle is a fairly upgraded WELL L96, but it seems people aren't seeing the upgrades and just the initial gun! Shame really.

    Have you tried seeing if you know anyone starting out in airsoft to sell the mask to? You might find out if you know anyone starting out and maybe they'll buy it. Or a friend of yours may know someone.
