We have a 3 bed 1950s semi which will need to be insulated and new windows. We can't afford to do both jobs at the same time. Which would be best to do first or is this a crazy idea and both should be done at the same time.
Also, what kind of prices would i be looking at for insulation.
The bottom half of the house is red brick which i don't want to lose so we couldn't go with external insulation. Any suggestions?

For reference I saw a house recently with EWI that has (the appearance of) a redbrick finish on the external render. It is very effective & quite in keeping with the surrounding houses.

You should install the new windows first as if you upgrade the wall insulation then upgrade the windows you will need to hack away the new plaster to replace the windows.
