This was a film I had been meaning to watch for some time and now I'm glad i did. The film also shows the excellent skills of one Alexandre Aja who wrote and directed this, The Hills Have Eyes (remake) and Piranha 3D. The hills have eyes was one of the best remakes i've seen in a long time and it shows what a good job he did when you see the sequel which was pants. Next I might check another of his other films "Mirrors" which stars Kiefer Sutherland.

Really good movie until the dumbass twist ending ruins everything.

Didn't care for this at all. Generic nonsense up until the equally nonsensical twist mentioned above. I recall it being one of those films that outright lies to the viewer in order to "surprise".

I really like this movie.Yes,the ending is ridiculously preposterous but the movie exists to highlight gory deaths, which it does wonderfully and without a drop of cgi blood to be seen.
