A totally different animal i know but I've had a Stevens Stoke mountain bike for nearly a year now and can't fault it.
Does anyone here have one of these, or have you heard anything about them?

    Thanks

being sold in cycleogical at the minute

and by all account are a very good bike

Stevens also give you 40% off a new frame if you crash yours,

i think my brother was in there the other day and was saying they had one for just 2 grand with full ultegra, not bad

    True about the frame replacement.

I think it's 2,000 for full 105, 2500 for full ultegra. It's a very nice looking bike, but as stated there's very little info on it out there which is somewhat worrying for a company that has been around for 20 yrs.

I hear theyve got a good cyclocross reputation, but as guym said, road racing is completely different.

I know I shouldn't be too reliant on reviews etc, but I dont know that much about bikes, and the shop owners could be saying god knows what, and I wouldnt know any better!

They are very common in Germany- saw loads of them out and about on a recent visit. Germans are very fussy shoppers and the guys and gals I saw all looked like serious roadies.
