Most likely no, if you did go through with it then it would be very cool. But because it's not jap or a "gttdi" I'd say it won't get a great response on this board.

Those skogenracing guys are mental and the work they put into cars is immense. they have a forum and some of them speak english. They really know their stuff

If you are doing it make sure to pass on a build progress thread! Would imagine it would be a quality project if you got it finished!

    Please don't ruin another Sierra.

I'm getting sick of getting modded, when was the last time you seen a basic L ?

    Much much rarer.

yes i would be doing most the work myself. with a little help from some fellow petrolheads, I am a metal fabricator by trade so that aspect of things should be ok. i have already read the build thread over on skogenracing a couple of times on this car and think i can pull it off.

[lurker] Just be careful sierrasapphire with the old tin worm rust with them. There's a good reason you don't see too many of them around. I've seen nice looking cars on the surface be kaks wettingly screwed with rust in the main structure once you got them up on a ramp.:(

Otherwise they're an interesting one for modding. There used to be a lot of parts to mod them regardless whether they were base model of cossie. I'm sure a load of that stuff is still laying around somewhere. Good luck! :) When you're finished you can straddle the modding forum and the classic s forum with ease and get free advice from both. :D[/lurker]

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

thanks for the heads up wibbs, im well aware of the rot on some of these ole smokers as iv had many in the past. the one i have now seems to have bein looked after though, [previous owner had it 17 years always used factory jack] put it up on the ramp when i got it first and its d cleanest one iv seen for years, sills are straight as arrows, only bit of rust on the whole car was where some jezable fitted a aerial and didnt treat or paint the hole he drilled. sorted that so its rust free.:pac:
