Life Insurance/Assurance for japan

    going to travel to japan soon for work and was wondering does anyone know if this could effect your chances at getting life insurrane or a mortage or anything in the future or any impact at all. help would be appreciated

    well i have just heard rumors that if you dont have a mortage or life insurrance.(not really sure how it works i presume you can't have one without the other) that you wont get it if you have been to japan?

    If the OP will be working for a contractor involved in the decontamination effort, there is a possibility a life assurance premium could be loaded accordingly.

    In the absence of clarification, I'm downgrading the term 'crazy talk' to 'unsubstantiated rumour'. :D

    excellent. well its better to check these things rather than run off to japan for 8 weeks and then come back and be told you can't get a mortage cause u worked in japan :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

    haha it was more advise to check this before i travel, thought it was kinda a good idea alright u never know what could come back to haunt you.
