    Hey,

Just a quick one, does anyone know where I'd find an old (pre1980) Toyota Landcruiser BJ40 or FJ40. Even if it's in a shed, hasn't started etc.

I've been looking for ages and so have have only found wrecks or fully resorted ones. I'm looking for something in the middle.

Here's a photo of one for those who don't know them.

    PM if you want either.

    Thanks

I spotted two for sale on either donedeal.ie or carzone.ie.

You could also try the Toyota Enthuiasts Club...it's a new Irish club. Contact details are in the current edition of - Irish Vintage Scene's new magazine - 'Retro Classics'.

Spotted a mint white BJ40 only this morning on the road in Gorey...complete with original 'TNI' (Wicklow) reg plates.

thanks for the info. Yea, I should have said I've already searched the usual donedeal/carzone etc to no avail.

Will try the toyota enthusiast club, thanks

There's one in Thurles that was featured in Irish Vintage Scene some time ago. I reckon you'll struggle to find a decent one that isn't a rust bucket and have to go to the US and Australia for some parts.
