    No Country for Old Men......

    or

    Ultraviolet (with Milla Jovovich).......

Please watch No Country For Old Men and then delete Ultraviolet from you Sky box.

I can now go to my grave with a clear conscience, safe in the knowledge that I successfully warned at least 1 person of the extreme danger to your health by watching Ultraviolet.

Milla Jovovich is not enough of a temptation to watch this again.

    I loved Resident Evil too.

I may not have been clear about my contempt for Ultraviolet so I'll explain in greater detail.

    DO.NOT.WATCH.ULTRAVIOLET...EVER.

It is a film that I found so bad on so many levels, I have watched my share of bad films to the end, but Ultraviolet crashes and burns so badly I had to turn it off before the midway point.

Ultraviolet isn't that bad a film and remember that the studio cut it to bits in order to make it nothing more than an 80 minute action spectacle. Some great ideas in it and a number of truly jaw dropping moments plus Nick Chinlund is all kinds of bad ass as the villian.

That said if it's a choice between No Country and Ultraviolet then No Country wins hands down, a truly great film with a number of brilliant performances.

I caught bits of UltraViolet last night and it made me want to rub my eyes with gasoline and stick my head in the oven.
