I've been buying metal for the last 20 years but I'm at a stage where I now need to let some of it go to a new home. Is ebay the best place to try sell some it? Is it even worth trying to sell? Most are just regular cd's. I have a fair few Pic Disc's & LP's incl some box sets. Without trying to sell them here or list them I'm just looking for advise on where to sell them & if it's worth trying to sell them?. Should I just bring them to a cd/lp fair that happens every now & again?

Sell it to construction sites for cheap, or scrapyards.

I might take some of them off you - pm me the list and il take a look.

Other than that, Metalireland.com has a trades and sales section that's strictly moderated, thats usually a good bet to sell stuff on, as theres a code of paying on time, and no ripoff merchants etc.

try adverts, picture disc lps are worth money sometimes,
a mate has a double, shaped, picturedisc of out in the fields and i bet thats collectable!

post an ad in adverts and let us know when you have and we'll trawl through it for gems!!!!;)

you can use the site above and google others for a clue as to value, ebay also should give you a guide.

why not keep the lps and maybe decorate your ceilings with them?
course i'm not allowing for the wife factor:p

Selling your collections at a fair to fealers will mean you could get a lot sold in one go, but you might only get 50% of what an album is 'worth' from a dealer, as they need to make a profit from selling it on. You're better off selling individually to collectors if you can, for best prices. Could I get a look at your list too?

Tried Donedeal but very little interest. That site must be better with selling cars.
