.....and speaks out of the need for the current government to do something about job losses in Limerick.

Shame he was not so proactive about this when he was an actual minister for the sitting government.

Shame that things like job losses in Limerick and things like tackling serious crime in Limerick were not handled by the government he was part of.

Shame that when he was in his post before he became Minister for Defence ( He was Minister of State for the Deaprtment Of Justice) that he did nothing about that serious crime.

Just the usual big talk from a man who stayed very quiet when he and his government were in a position to do something.

Funny how it is now an issue worth banging the drums over, when there is no pressure on him to do something about it.

Man of the people my arse. Just another political figure looking after his own profile and nowt else.

WILLIE O'DEA CALLS FOR GOVERNENT ACTION TO STOP PREDICTED JOB LOSSES
30 April 2011Limerick City TD Willie O'Dea says radical Government intervention is needed to create jobs.
The Fianna Fail Jobs Spokesperson's comments come after the suggestion that 30,000 jobs could be lost this year.
The prediction was made after the Government revised downwards its forecast for economic growth in 2011.
Deputy O'Dea says the Fine Gael-Labour coalition needs to act decisively to deal with any problems that may be coming down the tracks...
