Is Prince William (apart from being royalty) that attractive?

Just a question I pondered with all the wedding coverage

Only really got a good look at Kate yesterday and as a guy I thought she was very very attractive

But ladies, is Will that hot as a person?

To me he comes across as a bit of a dim toff.

If it wasn't for the wealth and royalty would he be all that?

Does Kate really love him or all that goes with him?....

maybe she's not going for the looks that much. they know each other for few years now, so is it possible she likes his personality?

he's not attractive, used to be, before going bald Harry makes more sense. William seems weak and looks like Kate is going to wear the pants in their household

Just because he is royalty doesn't make her a goldigger, if thats what you're getting at.

He wears a uniform, all men look better in uniform.:)

Also you don't get to be a rescue pilot by being thick as a plank.

Harry is better-looking, and I 've held this view since the time they were both just kids, however yesterday I warmed to William a lot, he looked genuinely in love (whatever that means ).

EDIT: I think they are both quite intelligent guys, I'd say it takes much more social skill, and general cop-on, to deal with everything they have on their plate daily, than it might look to us from the outside.

So he's a rescue pilot .... You ever seen him fly alone??? He comes across as dim to me. I'd say he has a few "co pilots" on every flight!

He was hardly going to be rejected as a pilot if that was the career path he chose

From what I see of him, hes not my type.

And I don't know the bloke, so I can't form an opinion on what hes like one way or another. I wouldn't assume he's thick though, and he isn't ugly.

I said nothing about being intelligent, but I suppose takes a smart person to display some kind of character/personality. I definitely think people do not get married to each other just for look... Maybe for money, but not for being attractive ( don't mistake with "attracted" ).

Harry is way hotter though and always has a dirty twinkle in his eye. We likes that..

I don't know either Kate or William so Its hard to comment. I guess you could equally say for Kate, if she wasn't so attractive would she be all that? I'm sure she has more going for her than just her looks.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so its very difficult to comment on how attractive someone is when you don't know them as a person. From his interviews, though he seems like a nice sort of guy.

When I said Kate was attractive I didn't purely mean looks. Some of her mannerisms and quirks were quite endearing to me

When you say he comes across a bit dim, what are you baseing it on?

I've never heard him speak so I don't know.

I wouldn't say he is unattractive, I mean his tall, well built, has a nice smile. I think everyone has their own idea as to what attractive is, so who is to say that she does or doesn't find him attractive.

We will never really know if its a sham marraige based on greed or whatever. I mean the romantic in me likes to think they are in love from the way they were looking at each other but if in 10 years time it ends in tears, we will equally be looking at the pitures saying "oh they didn't smile at that point they obviously hated each other"

I think he used to look like his mum, but more like his dad/uncles now. Very like Prince Andrew. He seems a pretty decent, unassuming guy. I'd imagine he's quite sweet.

Jeez, royalty: I know there's the obvious advantage of never having to worry about money, but the rest of it - the constant scrutiny, security hassles, archaic formalities... must SUCK. I've no doubt Will and Harry have at times longed to be normal lads... well, normal wealthy lads.

I wouldn't describe as either of the princes as very good looking. Average yes. However, I obviously going by pictures and the odd time I have seen them on TV. Attraction is a lot more complicated. I have fancied guys because of their personality or something I just couldn't put my finger on. I know some very good looking guys who I would never fancy.

As for either of the princes intelligence - I can't comment as I have never even seen them interviewed.

I think they seem genuinely in love and it's ridiculas to think kate couldn't love him just because she is better looking than him.

I agree with Tayla. Harry is definitly better lookin. He has a twinkle in his eye that shows that he's up for a bit o' mischief! I always have a soft spot for hair of the red variety too

Yesterday just made me like Harry more. He seems to have a great sense of humour and would be a laugh.

But I must say Will and Kate do look very much in love and I wish them all the best. The two boys are a credit to the royal family and seem grounded (as grounded as they can possibly be).

Yeah I'd be in the Harry camp too. I'd call him attractive but not William. I think William came across as kind and considerate at the ceremony though and I doubt either brother is dim as someone mentioned earlier.

It's funny, I don't really understand why men question why very attractive women go out with less attractive men. Looks are looks. Kate might be beautiful but whose to know what's going on with her personality wise and you can hardly judge someone just by their mannerisms (she gives the impression she's nice though). Some men consider looks enough. Perhaps she's a dim toff as well. "Why is SHE going out with that idiot?" for example. You hear that bandied around a lot. Because a woman is good looking (without knowing anything else about her), it's presumed she automatically should go out with the cleverest, most intelligent, rich, good looking men. Good looks doesn't make someone a better person.

Saying all that, they both seem nice. I didn't watch the wedding yesterday for my own reasons but they seem like a nice and normal enough couple and she looked absolutely stunning. He wouldn't be my type but if he shaved his head, he probably would be. The other guy, Harry is not my cuppa either.

I wouldn't say that William is hot but he's certainly not unattractive or ugly. He looks like a normal person like the majority of people do. As for him losing his hair, a lot of people lose their hair. My cousin was balding in his early 20s. May as well know up front that your husband is going to end up bald!

I don't think she was rough-looking, but she definitely had way too much tan on, especially for a white dress.

I don't think that the princes are particularly attractive or unattractive, looks-wise... They seem a lot sounder than the older generation of royals though, William was so affectionate with Kate (compare and contrast with Charles and Diana) and Harry looks like a good laugh. As others have said, however, them being royal would be more off-putting than a positive point... I'd hate the attention. Everything about their relationships is scrutinised by the media, you'd get no privacy at all, horrible!

As for Harry's paternity... Red hair is known to run in Diana's family. This is her brother as a young fella (he's grey-haired now)

Prince William used to be very handsome, he really took after Diana when he was younger, unfortunately he's lost his looks a bit over the years, but he's still attractive. There's some attractive and appealing about Harry though, he has that naughty glint about him.

I think Prince William is quite attractive. In the interviews I've seen, he's come across as being quite charming. I think he would be a hit with or without the royal aspect.

i was just watching E!, with piece of interview of Kate and William and I will take everything back, there's a certain charm about William, but above all he seems funny, witty and people say he's smart as well ( with his pilot training and all ) so he is actually a perfect man to wed. And she's lovely too...

Most people, if they wanted to, ie had the will and the finances to become a helicopter pilot could. I'd say there is a lot of hand holding with very experienced instructors going on behind the scenes. Its unfortunate both he and his brother will never "really" be fully operational fulltime pilots yet take up spaces for a couple of people that might actually and in all probability would be better at/suited for the job.

There is no requirement to be a genius to be a pilot, it does take certain qualities, do I see him being a pilot in command flying Search and Rescue, not really, I mean is he doing it enough to get valuable experience?

Is he that attractive? I'm a guy, I seeing it from above not if he's a looker, but from an interview that I saw of them I think they seem to be into each other. Bastard for having that kind of access to heli training
