    got kept in a cell for 9 hours with no food or water a while back and got let out with no charges

    any lawyors out there that know if thats legal from the cops??

    Friend of mine got kept for about 5 hours. They were trying to sober her up before letting her go.

    they said the same to me but i was so dehydrated the least they could have done was gimme a drink of water to sober up...i drank 4 litres when i got out of the sh*thole

    My OH got kept for nearly 24 hours with only a mcdonalds when he got brought in, they wouldn't give him anything else to eat. They then threw him out of the station an hour and a half away from our home at 5 o clock in the morning and didn't let him make a phonecall from the station. He had a euro in his pocket which he used at a pay phone and had to sit out in the freezing cold until someone drove up to collect him.

    I usually go nine hours without food or water, it's called sleeping.

    As far as the rest of your post is concerned, it's not an AHs issue.
