oil, water and diesel are ok too..anyone any ideas

i had problem like that, drain the bottom of diesel tank, also have 4600, make sure when putting it back that the filter on the bottom of diesel talk is in place when screwing the tap back on

Did you drain some diesel from the tank at the filter and see have you dirt there. Happened me a while back and the tank was full of dirty diesel.

You need to drain the tank. There is a small filter on the outlet pipe of the tank, after draining the tank clean the filter before you put it back. The dirt in the tank will cause an air lock even if you have diesel coming to the injectors.

it sounds like dirty diesel ,had the same problem last year with a case 1494, dirt in the tank blocked the the glass dowl on the pump, i put an in-line filter on the fuel line between the tank and pump and it solves the problem. All the dirt gets caught by the filter and cant get in to the system. An in-line filter costs about 3 euro and i change it when i see it filling up with ****

My 7600 used do the same. The nylon filter at the bottom of the diesel tank may be blocked. You will have to unscrew the outlet tap at the bottom and take out and clean the filter. The problem is you will still have the problem unless you clean out and wash the tank. And even then you will have to wash out the storage tank when it is empty again and again wash out the diesel tank after to get any dirt from the storage tank. A right annoying pain in the ass so it is

DIDNT get the 4600 started, i looked at the filter in the tank again and its clean and flowing well there, filter in injector pump clean too...
i opened the small size 10 on side of injector pump and when you crank it over plenty of diesel coming out there , opened the injectors on top and very slight flow coming out of one and not much of the others, i didnt change the paper fuel filter as only done it less than 3 weeks ago but would hardly be causing this anyway would it

Take off the pipes going to the injectors and see if it is coming out the outlet ports, if so then you need to clean out the pipes running to injectors.

sounds to me like the filter in the back of the injector pump is blocked. this is the inlet for the pump and ill bet if full of "foreign material". then take off the fuel filter and put some stanadyne fuel additive in the bowl and put the rest of the bottle in the tank.

its clean the filter in the injector pump, thats the one with the spring in the centre of it,

anyway took off the injector pipes and they are not blocked, then cranked it over and there just some drops coming from them ports, should it not be squirting out quickly ??
