Dole and Bank Holiday query.

I work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and I sign for the rest of the week. I usually get 3 days paid from the dole (Thursday, Friday & Saturday). But this week I only got paid 2 days from the dole, so I assume this has something to do with the bank holiday. But the question I'd like to know is - should I have gotten 3 days from the dole (the usual).
I don't understand why I wouldn't have gotten the 3 days as usual from the dole because I work the monday anyway, and because it was a bank holiday, I got paid from work as usual and got the day off. I didn't get any extra money from my employers.
It would be helpful if anyone knew about this.

The way SW look at it is that your employer should have paid you for the bank holiday

You should get on to your local office about this.

But they did pay me, but just what I would normally get any Monday. Because it was a bank holiday, I got day off (and paid). I only claim for the Thursday, Friday and Saturday, so I didn't really think the Monday should have anything to do with them - unless there is something different that I'm unaware of.

So do you think this was a mistake by them and they should have paid me?
