Played it last year and had an ok score except for one poorly managed hole...
Used to play a lot there when I was learning the game - some redesign since then (of greens) but it's still an enjoyable track.

1st. Not overly long par 4 but fairway slopes from left to right with trees on the right so try and aim one up the left side which will keep you in play. The green was moved back a lot on this hole which makes it longer but the key is to have a second shot that's not blocked out by trees (both sides).
10th hole is the same but from a slightly different angle (separate tee box).

2nd. is a par 4, tee shot needs to be set off between trees which are at the top of a crest. The hole then bends slightly to the left and is down hill all the way from there so a drive with some right-to-left on it will leave a short flick. You can see the trees that line the right side but your landing area is blind so you have to try and judge how much turn you need from the tee (It should be pretty clear to you). Don't go too far left off the tee or you may be blocked out to to the green. 2nd shot is down hill to a flat green that you don't want to over-hit. Anything landing near the front of the green will likely filter down onto the surface. Over the back leaves a tricky pitch to an elevated green so don't go there.
The 11th is the same but the tee is further forward (I think. Anyway, one is longer than the other but similar angle).

3rd & 12th. When you play the 2nd hole, look out the back of the green and you'll see the 3rd fairway and notice the best place to position your tee shot. The 3rd (& 12th) is a short par 4, dogleg right. Probably a 5 iron or thereabouts from the tee leaving a short iron in. You can choose to go longer from the tee but you must be accurate or trees will restrict you. Might need a club more the second time round - pay attention to the markers and you'll know. The green is now wide and shallow from front to back with a teir from right to left so you'll need a precise approach.

4th is a lovely little par 3, down hill. Looks like you could kick it on but it's nicely protected. Judging your distance here is the key. Long can be be nasty. You only play this hole once.
13th is an up-hill par 3, strong enough hole, green is banked behind so slightly long may come back onto the green.

5th. Straight Par 5. Drive over a crest and then it's level with a slope down a little nearer the green. Can be a two shotter but the green is protected. Still think it's worth having a cut at but YMMV.
Second time round (14th) this is a par 4 from a different tee box. I made a mess of it last year (temporary tee that required a right-to-left, fail).

6th. Decent par 4, tee shot is up-hill between trees either side. Narrow enough green. As the 15th the tee box is further back and more to the left so it plays harder.

7th & 16th. Nice par 3. Down hill, bunker front left and green drops away a lot to the right. Also falls away over the back into some trees. Front bunker is the best miss if you're going to miss badly :) Short and straight is even better ;) You see what you get. Shorter hole as the 16th.

8th. Good par 4, tee shot over a crest again with trees on both sides. Slight left-to-right is ideal. 2nd shot plays down hill and is presented to you nicely. As the 17th, the tee is back near the 7th green so the hole is longer and a much more pronounced dog-leg. Needs a strong drive with left-to-right or a safer drive leaving a long approach. Good tough hole, drive feels claustrophobic to me :)

9th is a good par 4, mostly straight but the fairway slopes from right to left. You need to try and favour the right side of the green a little - there is a bunker on the right but the ground slopes right to left and the green falls away on the left. This is more the case as the 18th because the 18th is a par 5 from further back so you might be trying to run in a longer approach...

Nice dry (sandy) turf over there, not that it matters much with the weather we're having now. Not overly difficult course but you need to position your shots with a bit of care rather than lashing it and then finding it (in the trees).

Decided to play there this evening. Played like a clown on the front but more respectable on the back 9. Wind and showers didn't make it easy but I enjoyed it anyway.
