Take on someone with some experience in media sale. Offer a basic, with commission incentives to boost the application rate. Its very hard to get commission only sales reps. I know, because its what I hire. If you're offering a basic, you can put our ad an Fas.

This may be suited by an inside-sales rep (telesales). If so, make sure the person has experience in a similar telesales role as this can be very demanding

Nothing beats face to face sales. People can all too easily hang up the phone and these days I wouldn't blame them. Every other day I get phone calls from companies promising to get me onto page 1 of Google. Every so often, I get a phone call to say my computer is about to explode and I need to buy a life saving package to stop it from blowing to bits

Point is, a face makes it easier to trust what is being sold. It's a bit harder to ask someone to leave your premises, or slam the door in their face unless they are rude to you. In my experience, women are better at selling these things. You will find most of the decision makers are men in business and men find it even harder to say no to women sales reps. I once had a sales team of 15 people, 14 of whom were women. Believe it or not, I didn't do that on purpose. Most of the applicants given to me were women and the men interviewed would have been time wasters.

LOL I know. The gas thing about this "1st page BS" is you would pay for them to do work for a few months and if you dont end up on the 1st page you leave them.
Point is! they don't care because you have paid for it for the past months and they could have done nothing.

I do agree.... I was hoping to get a women to do the job because of what you say.

The client you are going to visit is a call centre who take on regular campaigns for high profile clients and therefore need to employ call centre staff, usually on a temporary basis.
They are currently using a national agency, as their Head Office has agreed a sole supplier agreement, but are having problems with the caliber and the retention of these temporary workers and are continually having to recruit and retrain.

Today you are to meet with their Call Centre Manager who is looking for an alternative supplier. Having spoken to him/her over the telephone you have established that he/she is anxious to find a quality agency. He/she knows what they want in terms of service and value for money and is looking for a ‘one stop shop’ solution and a business partner that they can trust.

what would be a good quick pitch for this...?

If it's just for selling adspace on your website, have you thought about just using adwords or something similar?

NO... I only advertise qualified ADIs and they must have a picture in the listing.

So adwords would not work....... or am i missing something?

Oh I see, you're looking to charge instructors to be listed in your directory.
