They're as regular as a pair of tits in The Sun, it wouldn't be motors without one.

I think it's best not to get involved.

I figured cyclists would want to read and possibly respond to this post in motoring. This is what we are up against out there.

Best laugh I've had all day, thanks OP ;)

If I added a link to this thread on the Motoring board, would the world explode?

I think there's only one way to settle this: a race.

Cars vs bikes, or Motors mods vs Cycling mods?

If it's the latter on bikes, I nominate Alanstrainor.
If it's the latter in cars, I nominate Onkle.

If it's the former, it'll depend on whether there's mandatory cycle lanes involved tbh...

Well if it's the latter on bikes, el tonto has quite a reputation in boards challenges;)

I took a look and even though there were some dumb opions, the op had a point. I spend most of my cycling time in the city centre and i see plenty of idiocy on bikes. Don't get me wrong, drivers and peds can be bad too but most of the cyclists i see in town don't know the rules of the road. Dublin bikes are the worst.

Red light jumping, using the footpath, going the wrong way and dangerous, unpredictable manoeuvres are rife. We know it happens and lots of us in here are probably culpable. A lot of this is due to ignorance but lots is also down to blatant disregard and a feeling that the rules of the road are only for cars.

This is a problem because cyclists as a block are seen as reckless and dangerous even though it's probably only 80 percent of cyclists who behave like that ;)
I get plenty of respect on the roads from motorists but i can understand why motorists feel the way they do about cyclists.

Written from mobile so apologies for fat fingers.

The attitudes in Motors are generally quite sensible about cyclists, as are the mods. It is only a few random posters with crazy ideas. The infamous original "ride on the footpad" thread was shot down pretty quick by the regulars over there IIRC.

I'm still very disappointed that the Man V. Horse challenge never happened.
