Threads of fame / Infamy & hot link suggestions

Was thinking id add a 2nd hall of fame of sorts to the hot threads sticky, one for threads.

What are the threads that you remember the most? which are the ones worth remembering and taking note of in the long term?

For Instance PinkDivas thread all about Billy Gunn was called the best thread of the year by a few at the time and one that is referenced a good bit but newer posters may not have a clue what it was, Ditto the Kane thread.

If you can search out the thread (link to it ideally) ill try and make sure it can always be easily searched out and sure for now this could also be a place to reminisce about threads gone by, like the time Kentombomb started a thread asking to be made a mod (who say the new folk), now that was a good'un :pac:

Long story short, he accused Flav of a duplicate account and was wrong. He got the guns over this. He then started his own forum and proceeded to post pictures of me which i have no clue how he found them.

I also believe he emailed a member calling him all sorts of names.

There had been a section like the one I'm proposing for the hot links stickies before but it was on the wiki page which was at some point gutted leaving us with no threads of fame. No need for us to document the history of the board anywhere other than the board itself IMO so if I do this I might transfer over some threads already preserved in the hot links thread into this new section. I.e the PW epic fail/hhh hating/random hilarity threads for example.

Anyone have any suggestions which aren't in the op... Speaking of SR/VR I might see if I can track down that bet thread, where it must be said he did get 1 right as this too has been referenced numerous times on her but newer posters wouldn't have a clue about it

always wondered where he went, I remember he lost interest in wrestling and was in the MMA forum for a while but that was a few years ago

For me, definitely on the Infamy side has to be the whole "WrestleZone Ireland event". I don't think I've seen such commotion for an event in all my time on boards.

Thanks for raising this. He still hasnt refunded me even though he agreed to. Just ignoring my correspondence now. Any ideas how to sort it out?

He promised to refund me for two full price tickets. I have a record of all correspondence with him but first he delayed, then got nasty and now he's gone off the radar. A lawyer would be expensive but I'd nearly do it out of the principle!

Lol thanks I'm very tempted to do that!I have it in writing that he said he will refund me and since January has been ignoring me. I wonder if he has organised any darts exhibitions since. Surely there is some procedure I could go through to get my refund.

It's not so hilarious when the promoter gets nasty and then threatens not to refund what's yours even though you have a written agreement with him!

bumping this as it seems there may be a couple of threads atm that I think should be saved in the hot links sticky, the in the spotlight ones for example and the awards threads when winners are announced.

If anyone has any other suggestions throw em out there and obviously if you a stick actual links in here I (being lazy and all) will be far more likely to add them.
