Mac Mini - few questions.

    Howdy all,

I currently have a Popcorn Hour A200 which so far has proven to be great in terms of what it can handle, but requires a lot of time and work to get it looking how I would like...nevermind teaching herself how to use it!

Anyway last week a buddy of mine urged me to download Plex on my Macbook and give it a spin, which I did.

I found it insanly easy to install and once I pointed it to the HDD in my Popcorn box I was really really impressed at how it scanned my library and got all my movies setup perfectly (all correct art work, details etc) so fast and painlessly.

Playback over wireless was perfect, and I even downloaded the iPhone app which again is very impressive.

So this has really got me thinking would it be worthwhile getting a MacMini + Plex and just living the easy life.

I just had a few questions I'm hoping people might be able to help with -

Does the current Mac Mini (HDMI) bitstream or passthrough HD audio?
If not, is this a hardware thing or a software issue that could possibly be over come in the future?

Does anyone think a 2011 revamped model is on the cards?
If so would it be a safe assumption to say it would support HD audio over HDMI?

Bar the HD audio issue, has anyone used both the Popcorn Hour and Mac Mini for movie playback?
Would you have any pro's or con's over each?

After using Plex on the Macbook I really feel as great as the Popcorn Hour is, it just seems like an awful lot of work to maintain.

Any info would be appreciated, thanks.
