    Hi Folks.

We are looking for a very experienced full time chef for our premises in Athboy....
This is a good opportunity for someone who has a few years experience under their belt and who is capable of working on their own initiative and running a kitchen.
Any interest please PM me and I will provide full details.

    Thanks

    Bella

    2. Job Advertising
Companies and Recruitment Agencies are not permitted to use boards.ie as a platform to advertise their positions. We do however encourage fellow boards.ie users to highlight positions available in their own organisation. When posting a job that you know is available, please include:

    - Location
    - Job Spec
    - Renumeration package (even if its just reference)
    - Qualifications (or experience) preferred
    .

I think I have stayed within the criteria, I just can not believe how hard it is to find a Chef in the current climate.

I am not an ogre and the conditions are very pleasant...

Come on Chefs, take a moment to PM me..:D

Have you tried using one of the job websites, e.g. meathjobs.ie, westmeathjobs.ie?

You might also have some success using Fas.

    Thanks LM...

I have tried FAS, Job spots on the radio, an advert on LMFM, it is unreal to be honest.

There are chefs out there without work, but finding them is like finding the needle in the haystack.
I will try those two suggestions you have given me.

    Thanks

In the current climate a chef would be extremely wary of going out to athboy to what I presume is a new venture when a lot of places in more populated areas are closing down

    Hi Vego,

I get what you are saying about Athboy not being in the big smoke, but I did assume that there were some chefs who might just live outside Dublin, and that some of them may be unemployed....

Yes it is a relatively new venture, but it does have the advantage of a lot of hotel bookings to keep things going to a certain extent. I suppose from my point of view I would look at in from the viewpoint if someone is currently without work, then surely having work to go to is a bonus...
