oil boiler not working

    hi,all ,my oil boiler was'nt on for about three weeks .when i switched it on yesterday it only starts for a moment and then cuts out.the time clock remains on And when you press the button(large red one) insde the boiler it does the same again. Any ideas what could be wrong and ways to fix it .Thanks.

    first thing you always do is check for oil,even if you got oil recently check the tank, you never know, times in it a lot of oil is being nicked. Then refer to your manual and follow fault guide, if there is a tiger loop on oil line going in , it should bleed by pressing the switch on front of the burner a few times, if its an airlock on the line its easily bled, is it a riello burner, beware of cowboy service men, charge you **** load a money for doing nothin, get back to me bud

    Cheers varadero, ckecked manual and bleed it. its workin perfect now.All do not much need for it in this weather. Simple enough can only image how much i'd have to fork out to some one to do. cheers again.
