Hopefully I might be able to get assistance in relation to this -

Does anyone know where I could get a hold of the most up to date copies of legislation? More specifically statutes pertaining to Criminal Law.

IrishStatuteBook.ie is a fantastic source though I've found that finding all relevant amendments to particular acts is a tedious effort! This would be most relevant to the Road Traffic Act.

    Thanks in advance.

There are looseleaf updated legislation books on criminal law and road traffic separately. These can be quite expensive so try to get them in a college library or somewhere.

If you use the chronological list of statutes on irishstatuebook.ie it gives a list of amendments which makes it a little easier to find the amendments.

if you have access to westlaw download legislation fastcheck PDF, which lists all legislation and all amending legislation by section... so you only need check once for what is the current version of a section...

it's at the bottom of the page for "Consolidated Legislation"

Just looking up the Dept of Law Reform's Policy on updating all legislation into an easier, compacted form. They have the RTA Restatement listed as to be published in the first wave of updates but no sign of it yet..!

Westlaw looks intriguing. I'll try the free trial and see where it takes me.

Anyone have any idea of the costs associated with it? Their site is quite vague.
